(Also, if you have suggestions for stuff I should pick up next, please let me know!)
I will try to keep my impressions relatively spoiler-free!
Nightlife by Rob Thurman- book one of the Cal Leandros series. Not bad, not bad! I was a bit turned off by the latter half of the book, however.
Stravaganza: City of Stars and Stravaganza: City of Flowers by Mary Hoffman- books two and three of the Stravaganza series. You know, as much as I hate to admit it, the first book is my favorite so far. The second was good, don't get me wrong, but...I found the third one kinda tedious, and it felt like it would never end.
Lockdown and Solitary by Andrew Gordon Smith- books one and two of the Escape from Furnace trilogy. HOLY. SHIT. Holy shit. If you like horror/thriller novels that take place in underground hell prisons, this is the series for you. I want Death Sentence in my hands now. Too bad I won't get it until August. sigh.
Eon: Dragoneye Reborn by Alison Goodman- book one of a duology. Badass. Elemental dragons, bros!!! Swords! Intrigue!
White Cat by Holly Black (reread in preparation for Red Glove) - IN PROGRESS - If you haven't read this yet, why haven't you??????? CON ARTISTS. CURSE WORKERS. It's awesome.
The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson - IN PROGRESS - book one of The Stormlight Archive. Slooowly making my way through this bad boy.
Plague by Michael Grant- fourth book in the Gone series. CANNOT WAIT. (Another series you should be reading. For serious. It keeps getting better.)
The Monstrumologist and The Curse of the Wendigo by Rick Yancey
Eona: The Last Dragoneye by Alison Goodman
Chime by Franny Billingsley
The Devil You Know by Mike Carey
